debt ceiling. I would negotiate and accept write-offs… because the country cannot pay everything it owes. Everything has a limit. The economy is being maintained on amphetamines, doping it to keep it running. And everything has a limit. -In your new book you point out that the «supercrisis» will come soon… The supercrisis will not be economic, but social, and it will occur after the current period of adjustments and adaptation to the new model, more productive and efficient, but with very high levels of structural unemployment. Accepting that 2006 will never come back will be very hard.

Santiago niño becerra: «catalonia will be independent in a few years.

In 2007 began a crisis of model exhaustion structurally similar to the Depression that announced the ingredients of the change of a system, the capitalist system, which no longer meets the needs of the historical evolution of the economy and society. Increasing power of corporations, tendency towards oligopolies, reduction of the coverage of the social protection model and increase of inequality, loss of importance of states in favor of regions and clusters, cooperation between competitors, shift from ownership to payment for access to use, supremacy of equipment over the individual
I suppose that the pandemic arrived just at the time of writing your new book, but it has not affected the main points of the book in which you envision the end of the capitalist system. How has the coronavirus crisis affected this process of system attrition? What will the new system be like after capitalism?
You suggest that the protection and presence of the State will fade away in the process of the end of Capitalism, but in Europe we are seeing just the opposite with the current crisis. Billionaire measures have been deployed to protect jobs, companies? Did you imagine such a response given the recipe of the previous crisis marked by austerity?

-Imagine that a traumatologist on duty receives a person with an unsalvageable leg. If he tells the family right away that it is necessary to amputate, there is a big problem. So he chooses to say «this leg is very bad, let’s see what happens». And when gangrene appears, then he says: «It has to be cut off».
Because the economist with the Amish beard – «vintage,» he says he is called- was not always an analyst of the hecatomb. He previously worked as head of purchasing at Torras Herrería Construcciones, was a delegate of Laminación y Derivados, and was at the Sociedad General de Electrometalurgia.  «You had to strike a balance between optimum performance and price, and that always produces tensions with people,» he recalls. So he closed that phase. But the one he has never opened, he certifies, is that of astrologer, something that has been circulated on the net.
nández] who is an astrologer. One day she asked me for help to make two presentations, the one she mentions and another one about the Dow Jones. I explained movies to her and she was doing her own thing. But if she asks me what sign I am, I almost don’t know.

Niño becerra – independence is viable

Author of the so-called «Theory on the new economic crash of 2010», he is known as «The prophet of the crisis» because already in March 2006 he announced that an economic crisis of enormous proportions was approaching.
He has published several books, both bestsellers: «The Crash of 2010: the whole truth about the crisis» (2009) and «Beyond the crash. Apuntes para una crisis» (2011). He is a contributor to different media and a regular speaker at conferences and colloquiums on economics. His latest book is called «Diary of the crash» and is already on sale in all bookstores in the country where Becerra explains in first person the past and future history of the crisis as seen by the one who announced it before anyone else. A document as exceptional as the terrible period in which it was written.
The term ‘sovereigntist’ is political, that is, with legal implications, and Catalonia’s problem is economic. The LOFCA is a very bad law that was accepted in Catalonia for unknown reasons, and the Majestic Pact was an opportunity to revert that bad acceptance that, for unknown reasons, was not used. It is true that with a political evolution it is possible to turn around a bad economic situation, but this will not give back to Catalonia the 250 to 300 million euros that the bad law of 1980 has already cost Catalonia, will it?
